I attended my first info session during my sophomore year with no intention to pledge that semester. I had originally decided to go only for information in order to possibly rush the following year. However, the active brothers that I mingled with were each so genuine and driven that they quickly gained my attention and admiration. As a result, once the info session came to an end, I couldn’t help but to sign up for an interview. It was also evident that they were more than your typical organization; they were a family. A family that I am honored to say I’m a part of today.

During your journey with Alpha Kappa Psi, you are provided with perks that will place you ahead of the game. For instance, we schedule private “dress for success” and résumé workshops for our members prior to the career fair. Amongst these, there’s plenty of business related activities that will set you apart from your competition. Not only will your résumé look good, but also will your self-presentation inspire others. You’ll learn how to achieve professionalism all while making true life-long friends.

You see, Alpha Kappa Psi has not only offered me with skills essential to my future career, but with friendships that will last a lifetime. I’ve met some of the most driven students on campus that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. They constantly remind me of the goals I’d like to accomplish and the person I’d like to become. From spontaneous camping trips and yearly national conventions to social gatherings, our brotherhood creates a valuable network of extraordinary people.

With rush week quickly approaching, and as the vice president of membership, I would like to invite you to attend an informational session. It is then my hope that you take interest and consider enhancing your collegiate journey with our fraternity. If you require more details, please don’t hesitate to contact any active member or myself.

VP of Membership

You will develop friendships and experiences of a lifetime while increasing your professional business skills. Rush will be one of the most exciting times of your time at Tech.

Rush is a weeklong process in which various events invite potential members to meet the active and alumni brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi. It also allows these rushees to get a personal preview for what Alpha Kappa Psi can offer.

We welcome all majors, as every career choice uses business skills. Currently, our members are working to obtain a variety of degrees ranging from Engineering to Computer Science.
